Natal Chart and How it Works

Mention the words "natal chart" and many are not sure exactly what it means. A natal chart is a horoscope or sometimes called an astrological chart. This type of chart is based upon the exact time of one's birth and where they were born in the world. These charts help one in understanding their past and their future. Many use this astrological tool in helping one in making important decisions in life. Two of the most popular categories that many have questions about is finances and love when having a natal chart drawn up.

When having a natal chart drawn up by a qualified astrologer, there is certain information that needs to be as accurate as possible. They will not only need your date of birth but the exact time of your birth and the location of your birth in order to have an accurate astrological chart drawn up. This helps when calculating the primary chart angles and making sure the accuracy is as close as possible.

Since the Sun, Moon and planets and primary angles in the sky, they are changing each second. This makes each natal chart very detailed and personalized. For instance, the astrological reading of twins can be different because of their different birth times. Use the time on your birth certificate. Be aware that in some instances the birth time can be rounded off and may not be an totally accurate time. Also take note that the time of the birth is considered useless unless the exact location of the birth is known.

Astrology online can be just as accurate if one would go to see an astrologer in person. Since only basic birth information is needed for drawing up a chart, it is not necessary to see one in person. This makes it very convenient for individuals who have limited time or do not have access to an astrologer in their area.

Knowing basic birth information can make all the difference in having an accurate natal chart done. Let us not forget that having a reputable online astrologer can also make a huge difference in having your horoscope done. No matter is one wants to know about love, money or other details in life, a natal chart can help.

Quality Astrological Charts

Since the dawn of time, people have been consulting psychics and astrologers to see into the future. Access to many of these services has been somewhat limited depending on where you live. Now with the internet, these questions can be answered by the push of a button. This type of service has helped many into answering many questions about major decisions or happenings in our lives. Having a quality astrological reading done can help people in many ways.

Many of us read the daily horoscope in the local newspaper. These types of horoscopes go by one's astrological sign or birth sign and are very general. It is very hard to get an accurate astrological reading from these. By having a professional astrological chart done, a reading will be much more accurate and specific. As a result of using this type of birth chart, people can help pinpoint upcoming events or help with making decisions in life.

When submitting information to one of the highly trained astrologers, it is important to keep in mind many details. This can be the time of your birth, moon phases, or other important events that were happening when you were born. After all, the more detailed information that is given can result in a more accurate and personalized astrological reading.

One of the most popular forms of astrology is love astrology. Many of us have questions regarding this area of our life. We would all like to have the knowledge of when we are going to meet that special someone. Some of the other information that can be gleaned from having a professional astrological love chart done is which zodiac sign would be a good match with our own. Some birth signs get along better or have more passion then others when matched together. By having this type of information about ones love life can help us to better understand a current one or future relationships with a partner. Also knowing which birth signs to avoid can help many to steer clear of a possible love disaster.

By having an accurate and personalized horoscope done, can help many with all those questions in life. There is a reason why this tool has been around since ancient times. Remember having a good quality astrologer can make all the difference when having your astrological chart done.

In The Stars

I had never given real thought to how astrology plays a part in our lives until a friend suggested that I study it and learn how the planets and stars tend to have a lot to do with many different aspects of life. I hadn’t paid much attention to my astrological sign and how it described me quite well until I began my research.

I searched the Internet for some astrology online courses so that I could understand all the aspects of what it encompasses. There was so much I didn’t know and found it very interesting how I could use this new found knowledge to help me make some decisions in my life. It seems the alignment of the planets and stars has a lot to do with changing emotions and thought patterns and I wanted to know all I could.

The most I had ever known about astrology was reading my daily horoscope in the newspaper and I had never taken what that said as literal. But as I learned more about it all I began understanding what was written in the paper and looked for deeper readings regarding what the astrological readings really mean to me in my life and the situations surrounding my life. Astrology opened a whole new world to me and actually gave me a great deal of comfort as well as hope as I struggled with some very difficult times in my life.

Astrology is much more than a side-show act at a carnival; some of the most brilliant philosophers studied the movement of the planets and the formation of the stars. They knew hundreds, maybe even thousands of years ago the constellations played a huge role in our daily lives; they just couldn’t explain it as well as it is explained by science today.

There is a massive amount of literature concerning astrology and the influence of the zodiac in our lives. I became obsessed with learning as much as I could and now, after years of practicing this science in my life, I have found more peace than I had in all my thirty years leading up to this point. It almost feels like being reborn into a whole new world where I can seemingly predict what will happen next in my life according to what it written astrologically. Having this type of knowledge helps me stay my course or change my path as needed.

They Only Come Out at Night: The Moon in the Signs, part 2

Many people born after 1969 under-appreciate what an emotional milestone it was, globally, to see people walking on the moon. It had always been the symbol of something completely unreachable -- a body contained within the heavens itself. In some ways, this is an appropriate analogy for the way that astrologers look at the moon. It represents emotions -- one of the aspects of our minds that make up feel closest to heaven (but also to hell!), and even as far as neuroscience is concerned, still mostly unreachable. We continue our look at how the moon's positioning affects a natal chart.
Moon in Libra
Libra's sign is the scales, so personal astrology readings usually indicate that these subjects have a need for emotional balance and equality. They are usually quite sympathetic and happy to acquiesce to other's people's needs, in order to maintain peace. They are charming, flirtatious and graceful.
Moon in Scorpio
Natal charts that show the moon in Scorpio mean (according to astrological principles) that the subject is intense emotionally, and seeks out emotional transformation and rebirth. They need commitment for fulfillment, and are very intuitive.
Moon in Sagittarius
Having the moon positioned in Sagittarius means that a person seeks out emotional freedom -- the ability to do and feel whatever they like. This seeking is often very active -- they don’t like to sit still!
Moon in Capricorn
Emotions for moon-in-Capricorn people are things to be controlled and made reliable and steady. They are not naturally emotionally-led, and prefer to think about things logically. They have as many dark or negative emotions as anyone else -- but letting these out frightens them.
Moon in Aquarius
When it comes to matters of the heart, when a natal chart shows the moon in Aquarius the subject is usually idealistic and progressive ... though this sometimes leads to detachment and emotional distance. They are willful, and need both physical and emotional independence in order to be happy.
Moon in Pisces
The moon in Pisces allows a person to identify strongly with other people ... with just about anybody, in any situation. They have a strange but sweet sense of humor, are soft-hearted and accepting of others' emotions, though they may differ from their own.

They Only Come Out at Night: The Moon in the Signs, part 1

According to astrology, the moon rules our emotions. It comes form the dark recesses of the night sky, shining like a beacon. This symbolism relates well to how we view our emotions -- arising out of the dark, barely understood recesses of our own minds, yet shining undeniably and often lighting the way through the darkness. We are going to be looking at how the moon affects personal astrology readings when it appears in different signs. From the ram on down, here's your introduction to the moon and all its powers!
Moon in Aries
People for whom the moon falls in Aries in their natal chart tend to like dealing with their emotions right away. You won’t find any emotional denial here, and emotions always inspire action. They actually get bored with environments that are too peaceful - they need emotional challenges to thrive.
Moon in Taurus
When the moon falls in Taurus, we see a tendency towards conservatism and dependency, sometimes even a little stagnation in the subject of the personal astrology reading. They don’t naturally understand the need for emotional stimulation, but are generally romantic and not easily ruffled.
Moon in Gemini
This somewhat dualistic positioning of the moon can result in people that are curious and quick witted, but somewhat moody and unpredictable, emotionally. They are adaptable and versatile, and like to talk about (rather than act on) their emotions.
Moon in Cancer
The moon is the natural ruler of Cancer - these people are highly emotional, remembering every fight and every loving encounter in great detail. Their natal charts show a devotion to truth and a need for security.
Moon in Leo
Personal astrology readings show that people with the moon in Leo like to be the center of attention emotionally, and take great pride in their feelings. They are never ashamed of their emotions, and also tend to feel the need to control other's feelings.
Moon in Virgo
People with the moon in Virgo in their natal chart like to understand what they are feeling at all times - to be able to compartmentalize it, name it and organize it, dealing with it precisely and efficiently. They enjoy having a simple life, and pressure and stress can take great tolls on them emotionally.

Celebrity Natal Charts: Julia Roberts

This refreshing, garrulous and talented lady who once wore her underarm hair to an awards ceremony is known worldwide as much for herself as the characters she has played throughout her career. Today we are getting inside what astrology says makes her Julia -- her natal chart.
Julia Roberts was born Oct 28, 1967, 12:16 a.m. in Atlanta, Georgia. She is a true Southern belle, and a baby that was born along with the new day!
Sun in Scorpio
Julia's Sun sign is Scorpio -- one of the most highly intelligent and confident signs of the zodiac. People with the sun in Scorpio in their natal chart are known for having an abundance of energy, and the drive to succeed in whatever motivates them. This makes Julia rawly perceptive, and unafraid to act on her instincts. The scorpion's stinger is often seen to harm itself -- and this is often played out in life with a constant reinvention of personality -- the death of old characteristics and ways of life, and the birth of the new. Sun in Scorpio women are highly sexual, but can be quite judgmental and critical.
Leo Ascendant, Aquarius descendant
Isn’t it fascinating that Julia Roberts shares an ascendant and descendant with George W. Bush, our former president?! The Leo ascendant is the side of herself she shows to the world -- generous, bubbly, talkative, and quite dramatic. The Aquarius descendant in her natal chart indicates that her inner mind and life are focused more on fitting into a larger society, and has an inner objectivity and detachment that isn’t immediately apparent.
Venus in Virgo
This positioning of Venus can make people picky in love -- either overly critical and somewhat vicious, or quite humble and shy ... to the point of being overly self-sacrificing. Often these people have had more than one marriage -- combined with the magnetic sexuality that the Sun in Scorpio creates, it makes for energetic relationships!
Jupiter in Virgo
This positioning of the leader of the zodiac in her natal chart means that Julia's approach to problems is fine and methodical, never ignoring details. An analytic mind and strong intellect mean that teaching and charity work is especially suited -- and indeed, Julia has done plenty of work with Unicef and other charities.

How Signs Combine in Love Compatibility Reports

Love compatibility reports aren’t only twice as complex as doing an individual reading ... they have a multitude more factors to take in account in order to get a fair and accurate reading! Astrologers have specialized, self-created terms for describing the relationships between two people's signs -- one person's Venus sign with the other's Mars sign. Today we are decoding what all those specialized terms mean -- from semi-sextile to square and beyond!

Sextile signs
If yours and your partner's Venus and Mars signs are in sextile, a theme of your relationship will be a feeling of naturalness and easiness. You both feel comfortable together, and truly appreciate each other. There may not be strong chemistry present, but there is definite comfort.
Opposite signs
It is often said that opposites attract -- yet they can repel just as easily! Your feelings might be alternately boiling hot, and you feel irresistibly attracted, or else you hate your partner with a passion ... temporarily. You'll feel drawn to your other half, but will need to work on accepting things that are very different to your self.
Semi-sextile signs
The love compatibility of this combination of signs is often likened to two ships passing in the night. You might find it hard to connect with your partner and understand them. However, it is highly likely that you will feel that your partner is either at a place where you were previously, or has unlocked some secret you haven’t yet internalized -- a feeling of the past and future combining.
Inconjunct signs
A more insistent version of the semi-sextile occurrence ... you are likely to feel that you don’t understand this person at all! However, sometimes the feeling turns on its head, and you'll find characteristics that make enormous sense to you. You’re an odd couple, but that is not always a bad thing.
Square signs
If your Venus and your partner's Mars signs (or vice versa) are square, you have another exciting but potentially fiery combination. You might feel attracted to your partner despite a strong feeling that they are all wrong for you. It isn’t only a lack of understanding that you'll face in your love compatibility ... but sometimes downright disdain! You have great chemistry -- but it can swing both ways.
